Tisura Documentation Portal

Welcome to the official Tisura documentation. This is your central resource for integrating Tisura’s technology and understanding how our products certify the origin and authenticity of data shared over the Internet.

Certifying Internet Data

What We Enable

Tisura empowers users to prove the authenticity and the integrity of data they share online - not just to a direct recipient, but to third parties as well.

In Alice & Bob terms: When Alice sends a document to Bob, Tisura enables Bob to convince Charlie that the document is genuine and was originally sent by Alice.

This is achieved by combining:

  • Networking guarantees from TCP
  • Cryptographic guarantees from TLS

Together, they allow data integrity to be portable, verifiable, and independent of trust in the sender. You can find more technical details on Technology page.

Why Existing Solutions Fall Short

1. Content-Based Analysis

Relying solely on the content of a document - e.g. image analysis, metadata inspection, or AI detection - is insufficient. For example, students can forge a parent’s signature, and in many cases, teachers don’t detect it. Today, with AI-generated forged documents, detection becomes even harder.

2. HTTPS-Based Certification

HTTPS ensures secure data transfer between a client and a server, but it does not enable a recipient to prove to a third party that the received content is authentic. If HTTP included this functionality, it would significantly reduce the risk of tampering. However, it is not yet implemented, though the topic is addressed in this RFC.

Our Products

Tisura currently offers three product categories to bring verifiable authenticity to your applications:

  • Dossier Certifier Certify the authenticity of document-based user submissions (e.g. for rentals or loans).

  • Trustless Airdrop Enable token distribution based on user activity - backed by cryptographic verification.

  • Tisura Identity Enable users to prove facts about themselves (e.g. adulthood, nationality) without revealing certified personal data.

You can find detailed documentation for each of these products in the sidebar.
